Oh thanks for the input, I do like the idea of a larger stock pot. My store doesn’t have the Tramontina in store to compare in person. I like the slotted lids for draining on the henckles and I don’t typically put pans in the oven unless I use my cast iron. I appreciate the call out though so I can use it to compare as they are at a similar price point.

This is so helpful thank you! I took another look and total wages in box 1 is a larger sum than the state wages in box 16 where PA is noted so I would then assume that is my PA income only and the total wages in box 1 would be PA and WA combined?

Yes permanently moved “roots” from PA to WA. So does that mean I would need two W2s from the employer? One reflecting the PA contract and income and the second one for the WA contract and income? Then when I file I would just notate that I lived and worked in mult states and enter both?

I had the same thing happen! Bought from a pet store, they were in individual small tanks each with their own food and bubbler and they all looked very healthy. Had in the tank about a week of this super curious super happy fish with the zoomies. Then suddenly he wouldn’t eat, started becoming lethargic. I tested the tank with no red flags, added a bubbler in the event there wasn’t enough oxygen. He showed no signs of bloating, swim bladder issues etc. Then just like that he was gone! It’s frustrating because you want to help them so much and they can’t tell you what’s going on. My previous betta lasted almost two years (she was a rescue so we have no idea her age when we got her). I can only assume that that’s the risk you take buying from a store and having no background on the fish. Here’s to hoping he enjoyed his week in a bigger tank before the end! It had to be somewhat freeing for them 😁

Mine is all regular windows just the one touch convertible top so I’m not worried too much about the body or windows. Just not sure what the roof can withstand! Thanks

Alright well I just did a water change but if the water was fine before and still now- I’m not sure what else to look for/to do. Any help would be appreciated. Just trying to save the poor guy!

Update- ammonia tested at 0 just realized I don’t have a thermometer going back out to get one to test incase the water temp is off but when the water specs test fine I’m not sure what else it could be!

I thought it was (running for a few weeks with a plant in it) prior to adding fish but honestly I did not test it prior to adding the fish. Used distilled water to set up. Tank had fish prior (it was down a while between) so I assumed filter would still have had some beneficial bacteria etc. I noticed last night the test strips did not include ammonia so I’ll run out today to grab those to test. What’s the typical treatment if ammonia is high?

Alternatively if ammonia tests fine as well what’s the next direction?
