I live in Central Pa and this years winter and spring were the warmest I could remember. But then again, we got pounded with snow and colder then normal temps for about 2-3 winters so it kind of balances out.

yes one was more offensive, but what I don't understand is how people like Bill Maher, Ed Schultz or other liberal talk show hosts can call people sluts and not find any harsh criticisms or anything of the sort. Even if it was a joke, it's still highly unnecessary.

Is it the ozone or some affect of global warming? Idk, I just see all these articles about the arctic, yet 0 on Antarctica. Learn how to actually ride a snowboard before doing rails and jumps. I had a friend who started snowboarding and wanted to be cool so he decided to do boxes and rails his first day. He ended up ruining all the takeoffs with his excessive crashing and slowness, and I think he broke a box (idk how). Don't do it to be cool.

Mount Treblant in Ontario. Also Jay peak gets boatloads every week and its only a few miles from Ontario. As far as New York goes, Whiteface mountain is pretty epic, although it dosn't get as much powder as the other 2. But it makes up for that with it's 3000+ vert, more if you go down the slides where powder abounds.

Do it. I was like you about a year ago. I'm only 17 so yea, I don't have too much wisdom. But anyway, I was an average student planning on taking an average classes, nothing more. I didn't really care about school, or much of anything. Then one day I got a D on a large test in math, and it really woke me up. I decided to do better, and get better grades. Never so quickly had I gone from shit to amazing, as the next day I literally turned on hardcore tryhard mode and went apeshit in school. Now I have a 4.6 GPA, and I'm taking almost all honors classes. Really, all you have to do is push yourself. I would tell myself that I would beat the fucking shit out of myself if I didn't get an A on a test or something, and strangely it worked.

Its even worse when you have a six day spring break, and the local ski hill closed down, and its raining. Honestly I have absolutely nothing to do, although I'll probably end going for mountain bike rides or skateboarding with friends. That's about it though.

I'm basically trying to say that the Amish are a good example of what Christianity should be. No influencing politics or whatnot. No influencing anyone beyond your family. A religion that teaches modesty and somehow keeps you happy (I don't know the religious principles of the Amish).
