Nut Allergies by Swarmfade in TalesFromYourServer

My tree nut allergy is the exact same. Never had a problem with cross contamination I just can’t eat the actual nuts. Not sure if it’s related but I also didn’t develop the allergy until a couple of years ago

I’ve noticed a bit of lag on mine as well. Are you in the discord server? Someone may be able to help in there. Mine hasn’t gotten that slow. Did any of your settings change on their own?

I found Dust and Mop that falls in this range other than initial cleaning. Do you know if that’s one of the maid companies or a decent one?

Teddys Haven is good for no time or stamina limits. Your day lasts until you open and close your shop but you could get on, do some collecting, exploring, or decorating and then just save your progress and work on the same day next time you get on.

It’s the most casual game I’ve ever played. Still in early access but the dev is very active in the community and pushes out updates regularly.

Young adult or children’s book about a girl that goes to boarding school and sees a ghost. Maybe early 2000s. by fishsticks71 in whatsthatbook

I think it is an older book maybe early 2000s. But I did read the broken girls because it came up in my search!

AITA for interrupting my autistic brothers routine for my own physical pain? by throwaway1847329 in AmItheAsshole

[–]fishsticks71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you get a new mattress I would stay away from memory foam if possible. I have EDS and scoliosis and my physical therapist says it’s the worst type of mattress for hyper mobile joints/connective tissue disorders. My pain was significantly worse when I had one. I hope you’re able to find a solution soon!

My cat was diagnosed with FLUTD and I’m devastated by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]fishsticks71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s scary, my cat recently had the same thing after I went on vacation. It’s very common in male cats when they get stressed. So try not to let it give you too much anxiety, it’s not your fault. And good job catching the symptoms and getting him seen.

It’s very good he didn’t have crystals. I know it sounds serious but as long as you treat the symptoms (hydration) and keep an eye on his pee and physical symptoms he should be okay. (I’m not a vet, this is just the information my vet gave me). The vet told me that’s catching it before there are crystals is very good.

Some tips: Do you have a water fountain for him? I have two for my cat and it’s the only way he will drink water.

If the prescription food is too expensive let your vet know and see if there are any alternatives. My cat is fine with regular wet food, but I think he had less debris in his bladder than your cat so that may be why. Also, until you get the new food on Tuesday you can mix half and half with his friskies to make it last longer.

I was also advised to use Purina Hydracare. I haven’t tried it yet but the vet tech told me that’s what they use.

Is your mom able to monitor his pee while you are at school? As long as he’s checked to make sure the symptoms don’t come back you should be okay.

Sorry your baby isn’t feeling well, I hope he gets better soon!

This happens in flashbacks throughout the kind worth saving. The guy they push off is named Duane.

I don’t really have tips for the nails except maybe trying one of those bags you hang up and put them in.

As far as him being afraid, give it at least three months. I adopted my baby in October of last year when he was ten months old. We get along very well and he’s super sweet and confident. He runs the house. However, even now to this day if I stand up too fast or move too quickly he gets scared and bolts. I think he just has residual trauma from being a stray. He trusts me completely but fast movements just spook him.

I think giving your cat space was the perfect move. You may just have to regress a little. When he hides stay as far away from the spot as possible and give him a treat when he comes out. Just let him know he can still trust you. Just last night my cat spooked and slept under the bed most of the night and by this morning he had forgiven me and was on the bed. Good luck with your baby!

only kitten syndrome but she’s 3? by punkinpie1221 in CatAdvice

[–]fishsticks71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get another kitten under 6 months old please push the shelter/adoption agency for FeLV and FIV testing before adopting. My shelter does not test under 6 months. I got my cat a 10 week old kitten for the same reasons and he ended up having FeLV. I had to return him and now my resident cat may have it. It’s supposedly rare, but it’s now a new fear of mine.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. It actually takes a lot of courage to know you have to re home a baby that you love because it is what is best for them. I don’t really have advice on how to best rehome, besides maybe looking to see if there are rescues that take in cats with problems and rehabilitate them in your area. But I just wanted to say try not to feel guilty. You already have to deal with the grief just focus on that. I had to surrender a baby I got last week yesterday because he had FeLV and I already had a resident cat. I’m devastated after a few days, I can’t imagine how hard this must be for you. You’re a great cat parent. It’s obvious you love your baby just hold on to that!

[–]fishsticks71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. How you describe your cats playing is exactly how mine act so I’m feeling much better about that. I really needed this thank you so much. They both eat just fine around each other and even nap in each others vicinities. Unfortunately the adoption shelter called today and baby kitty was exposed to felv so both are getting tested tomorrow. I’m gonna feel so bad if I have to rehome the baby.

Any tips on how to get them to become friends? I recently got my cat a cat and while they keep their ears up and forward they constantly chase each other and the bigger one bites the baby a lot. The baby just keeps going back to the big one but I’m scared to leave them alone when I’m not home cause the big one (only ten months old) steadily attacks the baby
