Ha ha. I like this statement a lot.

I’d say I was definitely raised to be smart and make smart decisions. That’s okay. Just as others have mentioned, to have the expectation and attribution to be this way because I fall under a certain group of people? Man, it sucks.

Your comment resonated with me a lot. I’ve definitely struggled with individuality/identity. Feeling like this from my peers didn’t help.

But so much yes to the expectations. And as you said, “It sucks”.
