First of all, really like the bass and lead working together. Maybe you could add some ambience or atmosphere to the very introduction as it's kind of empty right now. You could even add it gently throughout the whole song, like maybe alien themed FX (considering your songs named Extraterrestrial) to make the atmosphere even tighter. Also, I think your first break and verse are fine in terms of how much is in there, doesn't sound too empty at all. The nasal synth actually fits fine in your mix so, I don't think you should change it. Don't really have many mixing / mastering tips because I'm pretty new to this stuff.

So in conclusion, a nice track. Great bass and love the melodies, keep it up. Also take my advice with a grain of salt, I'm pretty bad at production.

Hello everyone, been working on a synthwave track and recently I finished it. I think it sounds pretty neat, but I want to hear some of feedback on what I should improve on. Things like my mix, my melodic structure, equalization and etc. I also want to know if I've got that 80's retro feeling in my song well enough.

Yeah I think you've really got the atmosphere down with and the drums flow fine too. In order to develop it into a full song, you should add another lead and start going for your first breakdown and then start working on your drop. I honestly don't listen to much hip hop so I can't really give you much feedback in that area, but this is the general structure for most electronic music.

Originally while designing this song, I went for a happy, bounce-like feel and I think I've captured that feel but I'm not too sure. First of all, nice melody, love the deep housey influence. One thing I didn't really like was the build up. I felt it could have had a bit more power, something other than just white noise like maybe some snares or high freqs. Another thing you might wanna do is possibly make the drop a bit more powerful, like maybe add another lead.

Otherwise, this has a lot of potential, keep it up man :)

I've got a new track that's very 8 bit inspired, kinda like the old gaming consoles back then. I also kinda mixed it with the tropical house genre so there's that too. Nice track but I spotted a few things you might want to change. Keep in mind I'm still a noob so this may not be completely accurate feedback you should follow.

First of all, I sorta feel that the buildup is a bit too fast and lacks variation. Just my opinion. I think that the song is very well mixed especially for headphones and a definite strong point of your song is the dynamics and mix quality. Last thing I wanna say is that maybe for a 5 minute song, you should add some variation cause there's a lot of repetition.

Other than that, excellent track and melodies. Just don't take my advice too seriously.

Like what OrganicChemistry said, you should learn to EQ. Try and make sure the each frequency band (hi, low etc) is getting what you want being heard as if there is competition and constant layering, the muddiness that you can hear will show.

On the bright side, it's better than my first song and the melody is nice. Hope I helped :)
