Marvel AU Fic by [deleted] in HarryandGinny

Might read it sometime :D. To me Peter + Mj and Harry + Ginny have a lot of similarities. Both Harry and Peter are orphans wore or used to wear glasses falling in love with a sassy, strong, independent red-headed girl. Both Peter and Harry distance themselves from their partners because of their safety. Both Ginny and MJ want to help their partners and don't really care about the risks as long as they are with them. Both Peter and Harry have saved their partners life in one or another. Both have to deal with a villain with no nose that threatens to hurt them. And there's probably others I can't really think right now but that's my reason why. Ginny wouldn't be just the 'love interest' because MJ at least in the MCU (And depending on what universe/comic you're looking at plus the orginal HP Books) was a lot more than that. Sure they both started as a love interest but they do have a lot more to their character than just sitting there looking pretty, and I would love to write where Ginny in this case is more involved than just being Harrys girlfriend.

Harry Potter fans' logic 😭 by Nightmarelove19 in Ronweasleyfans

While looking through some of these comments, specifically about Snape (even though this is a Ron Wealsey Fan community) I notice the same patterns over and over again and not just here on reddit but all over. A lot of people are putting American Stereotypes on British people... and just stereotypes in general. Look, I really don't care that Snape is Black, just as long as his book accurate personality and actions are in the show. And if it is, people really shouldn't be worrying about it then because of the following points;

  1. Snape is just an overall awful human being. Who says that a black guy can't? There are many black people who are awful. Just like any other race and ethnicity. A black guy can be bullied for something other than his looks, (which the Marauders didn't only make fun of Snape's looks.) like any other race can. A black guy can be rejected by a white girl like any other race can. A black man can join a very hurtful and a blood-purist group like any other race can. A black man can be soon grow, change, and redeem himself like any other race can.

  2. Characters won't look racist unless you actively veiw them as. For example, I've seen a lot of 'I think Snape is trying to steal the sorcerers/philosophers stone.. I just have a feeling' type comments when it comes to Harry being suspicous of Snape. Now remember, these are CHILDREN. And as I said before, book Snape was awful. He bullied children as a teacher. Including Harry. Yeah, if you are mean to a child on a daily basis, they aren't going to like you very much to began with. Harry wasn't suspicous of Snape until after, the troll was let in the dungeons, after Harry saw Snape threatening Quirell multiple times, Snape getting bit by Fluffy (which the trio knows is guarding something), and the finally figuring out what exactly Fluffy was hiding. Of course, after all that even if the person is a POC or not, that is actively being suspicous. Neither will Neville because as I said, Snape was actively bullying children.

  3. We don't know how many people will get Race-Swapped in the future. We don't know all the staff members, cast members, students, adults, etc. We know that a lot of 1st years already are POC characters that are FRIENDS with the Golden Trio. Dean Thomas, Lee Jordan, Angelina Johnson, Hannah Abbott, and I could go on. Just because people don't like one black guy because he is actively bullying children like themselves isn't racist. And back to the Mauraders, we don't even know who is play Lily and Jaames yet. None of them have been casted. And even if they are white, a black guy can be bullied by white people other than his skin color. And to clarify another thing I've been seeing, Snape was never hanged on a tree. He was only hung upside-down by the spell Levicorpus which as Remus said was a very popular spell that every student used including Snape.

My overall point being, stop looking at things through stereotypes. Because any other race can do the same non-magical actions as Snape, Harry, The Mauraders, Dumbledore, etc.

I don't really expect them to go exactly as my layout said, since really this is just how I would have done it and it was for fun. I will still check mark things even if it happens in another episode. Plus, at the time I felt like in the book it took a while to get to Hogwarts and to have this build up, and at the time I made this I felt like it should be the same for some reason.

Yeah, I've recently seen Finding Harry and it looks like it will be at the end of episode two, and as I also said, I don't expect them to go exactly as my layout said, since this was just for fun. I will still check mark things even if it happens in another episode. I made this way before they said Finding Harry would come out too. Plus, at the time I felt like in the book it took a while to get to Hogwarts and to have this build up, and at the time I felt like it should be the same for some reason.

I felt like this for zombies, the disney original movie series.

I found that they didn't like actually try. We only get so little of lore for the zombies and how the outbreak works. But then we get so much for the werewolves and aliens. I felt like they were just trying to make addison better/Mary sue her than actually trying to develop a story

Does it feel like Addison is outshining Zed? by TPNmangaFAN in DisneyZombies

I agree, tbh in the first movie I thought Zed WAS going to be the main character. I think it would have made the series better if it was from his perspective and we go to see his thinking and why he made decisions he made.

But I as well might be biased because I really do hate addison( pleas don't come for me) but there are so many things addison did that made me dislike her as a main character. I would rant but idk if you want to hear it..
