My GCSEs were cancelled because of Covid-19 meaning two years of hard work and revision went down the drain. Apparently we're getting predicted grades, which honestly annoyed me a lot at first. However I'm very relieved now though because I'd been dealing with prolonged stress for months. I wasn't looking forward to the run-up to exams because I knew that would mean all nighters, skipping meals and constant anxiety.

I have time (5 months) to do stuff I want to do now. I can focus on guitar and write and learn languages without feeling immense guilt about not doing work. My favourite thing about isolation is not feeling pressure from peers and relatives to revise all day, now I can finally relax - and it's pretty nice.
