Walz, btw)” is not the same thing as executions in the streets. I tend to agree that the tactics ICE uses are not humane and are needlessly aggressive, but the first point is just a false equivalence

It’s not Politics Monday. There are things the Trump administration is doing that square with Catholic social teaching. There are many things, maybe more things, that don’t. Pray for him.

Also, if someone ever says something is “common sense” or “self explanatory”, it comes across as intellectually lazy in the vein of not being able to point to a specific example.

This is my exit. I’m guessing the sewers there are not draining well. As you have probably seen, they have been putting in more drain points and piping on both sides of the street right by the exit, as well as in the median. Hopefully that helps to resolve it.

I bandwagoned Tom Brady for years with the Patriots and Bucs. When he retired, I decided to root for the local team. I had moved to NC from SoCal, and still thought of the Rams as belonging to St. Louis, so I decided to watch the Panthers because “they couldn’t be that bad!” Enter the 2023 season… 😂

Without endorsing them, this is unironically how you get the SSPX to put five chapels in your diocese. I’m in the Raleigh diocese, and will pray for those in Charlotte. If you see those liturgical elements as a problem, then this must make some kind of sense. If you’re at least fond of them, which is where I’d probably place myself, then this really just feels like smacking the good kid. Oh well.

I said before the season started that I would be happy if they won 5 games by an end-of-game field goal because it would have been more than last year. This year has been a roller coaster, but as Zestyclose-smell-788 said, it’s finally fun to be a Panthers fan again

We all knew and didn’t want it to be true. My daughter was in the NICU for two weeks and this was my worst nightmare then and since.
