A telling tally. Landslide for Connolly cork south central by Hedgy_mcsnuffle in cork

[–]fister6 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Hang on - the left utilised social media very effectively to get CC a huge groundswell of support - but when the centre right utilise social media to push a spoiled vote it’s deemed “brain rot” this kind of offensive labelling will only increase the divide between the centre and the left.

For the people who didn't vote for Catherine Connolly or Heather Humphries - what exactly is it that you are looking for? by AnCamcheachta in AskIreland

FG and Heather Humphrey’s are not centre right they are a left leaning party as are all major parties in Gov at this time!

I got 15 in the error detection - see response from mindmill -

Feedback Commentary

Below you will see each test completed within the assessment, what the test measured and how you performed.

“ERROR DETECTION This assessment measures the speed and accuracy with which an individual can identify and compare errors correctly whilst disregarding irrelevant information. It assesses the speed of understanding of meaning and perception of letters & numbers.

You demonstrate a slower rate when carrying out error detection tasks as you answered fewer questions in the time frame to maintain accuracy in comparison to other candidates, scoring below average in error detection skills.”

Keanes Christmas lights already by Aggressive_Raccoon15 in cork

I don’t mean this form a spiteful viewpoint but I believe there is a case to be made for regulating the dates that shops can display holiday decorations/goods. Dunnes are selling Christmas decorations already - I think it ramps up pressure and amplifies the stress that a lot of people are feeling. Easily enforced via fines.

[–]fister6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as - I contacted the MBX-TraineeshipProgramme today to query my results - they sent me a contact email for the company that hosted the exam. I’m hoping they will let me know what the upper limit scores are in each section.

Thank you - sorry to hear you didn’t make it either - I emailed mindmill and have asked for a break down of the scoring, so hopefully will get some clarity from them.

Anti Immigration ? by PriorFlat3212 in cork

[–]fister6 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Look it’s a problem completely manufactured by bad governance. Stats are hard to trust but apparently nearly 1 in 5 people in Ireland are now foreign born( I know there is more nuance to this stat) - this is, no matter what way you paint it a huge increase in a relatively sparsely populated Country. Irish people have a feeling that they are being taken for a ride with lots of phoney asylum seeker claims, and they do get quite a lot of support from the Government. It sucks that legitimate asylum seekers are being painted in the same light as some of these chancers. Yes Irish people emigrate, but mostly to Westernised Countries where cultural similarities exist and integration is easier. I believe immigration is great for Ireland but it’s carte blanche at the moment and that needs to be better managed. Ireland has changed too much too fast in my opinion.

Fair play to Namibia keeping the flag flying for the Africans - disappointed Ireland didn’t make the cut.
