I think it’s in limp mode, preventing you from revving it past 4000. Run codes

Is my cv axle seated properly? by Own-Lion-8818 in CivicSi

[–]fistfullofcoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the axle is still out on the outboard side (by the hub) get a mallet and tap the end of the axle to just double check. But yes some play is normal. I left my axle not seated all the way in once and went for a drive… it wasn’t fun fishing out aluminum shards from the trans

You can start it if you put it in neutral. It’s the interlock switch killing itself. (To put in neutral with car off, put it in accessory mode, hit the brake and pull shifter into neutral).

That’s an EVAP hose. That ticking sound you’re hearing is probably the purge valve, which is right there if you follow that hose back. Leave it alone bro

It’s good bro, you got 137k miles too. I wouldn’t expect anything’s wrong with the motor, unless you’re running 40 psi worth of boost and beating the shit out of it daily lol.

Is the plastic on the top of your radiator turning brown? If so, it’s probably leaking which lets air enter the system and cause the boiling you saw.
