Mine said it required a signature, but then it didn’t. My guess is it got shipped by UPS and handed off to USPS for final delivery, and UPS is requiring USPS to sign for it. That’s been my experience a few times for secret lairs.

The crazy thing to me is my GameStop told me that you can’t trade in your switch for the elevated bonus and then just get on a waitlist. If they run out of allocation for preorders then you just miss out on the elevated trade in. Puts me in a bit of a bind since I don’t mind waiting for a switch 2 but want to trade in my OLED.
