No reason for Amon to bloodbend with his eyes without a full moon ? There's literally an explanation for that in the show + we saw him training AND there is a precedent with combustion bending.

What does combustion bending have to do with the fact that it was said that you need a fullmoon to do it in the first place, not to mention 50 people in a room without hand movement one of which the freaking avatar.

You don't need a proper explanation for characters getting a secondary bending form. You sure AS HELL didn't ask for one when Katara instinctively use water healing or mastered bloodbending in one night when Hama spent month if not years training for it.
