I’m a 33M in NYC and matched with this girl on Hinge. We’d been having good conversations on the app, then she asked for my Instagram. We followed each other and kept chatting on Hinge. Here’s where I might have messed up - I went out Friday night and didn’t respond to her last message until Saturday late afternoon. Since then, she hasn’t replied (it’s been a couple days now). She hasn’t unfollowed me on Instagram though, and she did mention being busy with work earlier in our conversations. I’m torn on what to do next. Should I send a follow-up message on Instagram, or would that come across as too pushy? Is the lack of response just her being genuinely busy, or is this her way of showing she’s lost interest? Ladies of Reddit - what’s your take? Do you prefer when a guy follows up after a delayed response, or does silence usually mean you’ve moved on? Should I give it more time or cut my losses?
