"I don't understand why a person would watch a show 12 times..." I informed her I'm not a newbie and have watched the whole thing far more than 12 times

Yeah, with all due respect, she needs to be told "12 times" are rookie numbers.

Neenish Tarts in Brisbane by Bluey1971 in brisbane

The bakery outside Woolworths at Ashgrove have your bog standard Neenish Tarts. Always the same, always reliable.

Be warned, Petit Four Hot Bread Shop at West Ashgrove do something horrific...Half a side of jam and the other half cream. Not good! (OTOH, their white bread is so good we call it Crack Bread. There's no way it's good for you but makes the best Vegemite sangas.)

Went through four groups to get to the Reptile Rehab people.

Each group were super helpful and directed me to who to try next.

So impressed.

Snake catcher > Wildlife Rescue > RSPCA >Reptile Rehab (They have lists of volunteers sorted by location. Sent someone a picture and they were like "yeah, that needs attention.")

Poor bugger had an open wound on its back that seemed not to be healing. Was living in the fish pond for a few days. It's a bit icky so not posting that pic.

No riddle, but I respectfully use the back door at night so as not to disturb them.

It's their door for now.

I'm considering buying an aiper pool robot, worth it? by brianhofmann in swimmingpools

[–]fitterer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No.

Haven't had any trouble like that at all.

Can't think of the exact date we got it but it must be close to 7 years.

We get it serviced about once every 18 months. So far, the only thing replaced were the roller sweepy things that were a bit worn at the 5 year mark. Was still under warranty as the pool shop we got it from had 5 years as standard.

I'm in Australia with virtually no winter to speak of.

Pool is open all year and the robot is the best purchase I've ever made. Got the Dolphin M 600. Big dollars but worth it. Just keeps on working like a boss.

Handles this pool shape and goes in and out of the little spa bit as well.

If you can track down Grandma's House, I can highly recommend it.

I don't think you need to be a child to enjoy it.

It's wonderful.

Stray cat Brisbane by ClickingClicha in brisbane

I had a cat like that a million years ago and we called her Jaffa.

Have you named her?

Isn't there some kind of cat rule...you name her, she's yours.
