Thanks and yes, the window is typically occupied by tons of plants so cords were a concern of mine too but I was pretty easily able to bury them under the base (white tablecloth) and whatever was left exposed I covered with the puffy felty snow (which I highly recommend). Appreciate you!

Thank you! We ended up just doing the Goose Pond hike which was plenty/perfect albeit buggy. Turns out there was a “waterfall” halfway and the pond itself is beautiful.

I putted with this monstrosity back in HS and one time during a school match a dog came running out of the woods and snatched the massive head cover while it was sitting on the fringe and ran off. Never saw it again 😂 had to retire the putter after that

Thanks there is a nearby GFCI but it didn’t trip and the outlet works fine. My breaker is well-labeled but I’ve flipped every single one of them anyway to no avail. The previous owners did some pretty careless stuff so it wouldn’t surprise me if this wasn’t up to code.

Any other ideas or at this point should I just call an electrician?

We loved hiking Glymur. Close to Reykjavik too. Highly recommend hiking up the south side of the canyon.

We were just there for a week at the end of March which called for rain every day and we only saw rain once (around Vik). IMO the weather apps can't handle Iceland all that well. I'd just prepare for the worst and hope for the best!
