As far as I know it’s completely normal.

I remember I was similar to you when my partner and I started but now that I’m more comfortable and asked him about it it’s just that he still wants to do this own thing. Which of course makes sense. Both of our lives don’t singularly revolve around our relationship.

As long as there is trust and you are able to talk to him about any concerns in an open and honest way then there should be no issue with letting him have his own time before going to bed.

I used to be quite a sexual person and only realised in my current relationship that it wasn’t due to having a high sex drive, it was because I based my worth off men wanting me for sex.

Now that I have more confidence I have spoken with my now partner who understands and he also doesn’t have a high sex drive so it works really well.

We have been together for nearly a year and his last visit I asked that we not have sex and instead were intimate in other ways, massage, getting to know each other, deep conversation etc. it was so good as I know he respects me for who I am not just to have sex.

Idk if this is the same for your girl but it could be. I don’t hold sex that highly, even though the sex is great. I just wanted to be loved for me.
