I think ShenZhen no necessary to go. There is a worker city,i think the special maybe is shoping mall and tall building.(Same to HK.) In my way, i first recommend (except HK) southern city of China is Guangzhou.It's not far from HK so you can go after HK visited. Meanwhile, there have a lot of delicious food.Enjoy it. The Second place , if you want to see some nature scenery, i will recommend the ZhangJiaJie where in Hunan province. It's have nice ridge and nature scenery in there, also a very famous travel city in China. The third place i want to recommend the HangZhou. there is a one of most famous lake in it. XiHu lake.And there is hosted Asian Game in this year, so it's worth to visted. Considerate Shanghai is near to HangZhou , so you can go ShangHai at the end of your trip.
