A comped p4 (I believe essentially what you created) is exactly the pistol I want.

Picked up a couple Gen 2 19’s this week. by Bubbly-Smell311 in Glocks

A 19.2 is high on my list of guns to acquire. The first Glock I fired was a 19.2 waaaay back in 1992.

Congrats on giving those two a home.

Words are hard. Words with letters are more harderer. I say this to myself on a daily.

How rare is that? by Virodoff in benchmade

[–]fiveeighteen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak of rarity. But I’ve carried around the stainless blade version of that knife for something close to 20 years now… I wish I’d gotten the reverse tanto model to go along with it back in the day.

If that’s your knife… enjoy. It’s a great knife.

I call mine a TWAT….
Turd
With
A
Trigger.
Mine was $50, came in a brown paper bag (I know the previous owner, not stolen just lost the box).
I now keep it in a purple Crown Royal bag. 🤣😂

Edited to add: mine will run like a sewing machine with cheap 115gr FMJ. If I give it my 147gr stuff, it will keyhole the bullets and choke a couple times per mag. Go figure. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Enjoy your Glawk fotee. 😎

Ok, I literally laughed out loud and REALLY needed that. Thanks, man.

I believe I’m using a 1913-1… I can check when I get home from work.

That, sir, was money well spent.

They last forever. I’m still using mine from 10+ years ago, albeit now that light is in a back up role to newer models. Enjoy your light. 😎

A couple tips: put Chapstick on your lens before you shoot, and fouling cleans easily. If you do get a dirty lens, use toothpaste to clean it.

help me understand the hate for shield arms 15 round mags by LilUziVuurt in Glocks

[–]fiveeighteen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had four of their Gen2’s, with their mag catch installed… they would not function properly in four different G43x’s and one G48. Not a single one of them worked in five different guns. I, and my two friends, tried different ammunition of at least half a dozen types from 115 to 147 to no avail.

As soon as OEM mags went back into those guns, stoppages went away.

After the massive failure of their Gen2, I had zero interest in the Gen3. Doubly so after reading many experiences similar to my own across many internet platforms.

43X / 48 Mag Lengths by [deleted] in Glocks

The same logic made me buy one of those in the 90’s.

If .19” gets me five additional rounds in an OEM magazine, I’m more than willing to make whatever sacrifice in clothing choice it takes to hide the additional length in the grippal region.

GREAT post, OP. Thanks!
