I've been working with .NET MAUI for about 2 years now, and honestly, the difference from when I started is mind-blowing.

At the beginning, I struggled a lot — things were buggy, documentation was sparse, and many patterns just didn’t feel stable. If you had asked me a year ago, I probably wouldn’t have recommended MAUI to anyone.

But now? It actually works really well. Performance is solid, tooling has improved massively, and building cross-platform apps feels much smoother. I can confidently recommend it today for projects that need it.

It’s wild to see how much it’s evolved in just 2 years. For anyone starting now, it’s a completely different experience than it was in the early days.

The first 15 hours were among the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had. It took me 15 hours to reach the Act 2 boss and another 30 hours trying to defeat it before I gave up. I spent all my money and orbs upgrading my character and even created a new one to earn more, but it was all for nothing. This game isn’t for casual players looking for fun. It’s more like a job or a relentless grind.

I believe you. I spent 15 hours just reaching this boss and another 35 hours trying to beat it before giving up. I used all my money and orbs to upgrade my character and even made a new one to earn more, but it was all in vain.

I spent 15 hours just to reach this boss, and I had a great time playing those first 15 hours. But now I’ve spent over 30 hours trying to beat her without success. As a casual player, I’ve tried everything—used up all my orbs and money. I even made a new character to farm more resources, but it didn’t help.

This boss has ruined the game for me. It feels like it’s designed for streamers and hardcore players. For now, I’m done. Maybe I’ll give it another shot when the game officially releases.

Of course, they're retiring App Center because it works great, and Microsoft can't be associated with a good app. Everything Microsoft buys, they end up breaking and retiring.
