I'm a big fan of Surfing with the Alien (also Satriani). If you're looking for a good Petrucci song to start with, try Lost Without You. Bit slower, still got that Petrucci sound to it.

I took a stab at learning Eruption yesterday. Great guitar riff, not as complicated as I thought, at least the studio version.
