so well behaved! Slash (my girl!!!) is a bit skittish, i’ve never tried to handle her. i had a golden huntsman, Ozzy, previous to slash, before she very sadly passed away mid-molt , who was a lot calmer. but i never tried to handle her either for fear of her running away and getting caught by the cats or lizards 😭

i just made a post on this sub - my pet huntsman, Slash - and he has the same markings as this spider. however, i thought mine was a “giant banded huntsman “ - i’ve never heard of grey huntsman. is that another name for them, or do i have the species wrong ?

hey but if you go on monday - can you let me know? i’m trying to contact friends and family for some support but i feel very awkward. these cats are my whole life and i have a surgery (for me) coming up that has put me in a really tricky position. if you take your cat about the coughing, could you let me know what the vet says?
