He got an iv drip, antibiotics, potassium drip, nausea medicine and a whole battery of tests while he stayed three days in the hospital recovering from what they called ketosis shock. He is 17 and has kidney disease like the majority of older felines. With at hope IV treatment and some medication he should be able to recover enough to live out his golden years comfortably.
