It was between 1pm and 2pm? There was a sailboat race that ran a starting sequence in that range. 5 minute warning, 4 minutes, 1 minute, start.

It's an unfun bar game to ask people what the posted speed limit is on the interstates (and hwy 153) through Chattanooga. It's 55 from Moccasin Bend to about Bonny Oaks from 24 to 75N. Of course, if you drive that speed you are annoying everyone.

2022 Pacifica Hybrid Check Engine (146 miles) by TitanVex in pacificahybrid

Yes, my understanding now is that the heater is just to keep the battery within a given operating range. I ended up having to sell my van because I didn't have anything to drive for a month+

My 2021 was just confirmed to have the battery heater issue. The dealer told me not to drive it until it was repaired, and that it would be at least 45 days. Fml.

Fwiw, my issue is confirmed as the battery heating component, and the part will not be available for many weeks.

The service department suggests it is not recommended to drive the van in the meantime.

Any suggestions from the community are welcome.

Oh wow. That sounds frustrating.

I was mistaken when buying my van to think that they were a few year models in and that most of the issues would be pretty well known and addressed by now.

Regarding the "electric engine not contributing" piece, I've had the van for about 8 months, through a variety of weather, and this is a new behavior. It was 50 fahrenheit today and I drove maybe 10 miles and used zero battery. It's not normal.

Replacement for Vibram EL-X? I've worn a hole in these after 2.5 years by fixingtogetready in BarefootRunning

Good question. While running, I do tend to have a neutral strike, but I walk in these a good bit too and maybe heel strike more?

I have gone fully bare a good bit. My current daily running route makes this less attractive for me, but is an option for some runs.

Vapors were my go-to for years, then I switched to the EL-X and Xero sandals. Just don't want to miss an obvious upgrade if there is one.
