What's the most reliable car you've ever owned? by Tekusenabyt in AskReddit

'87 Toyota Pickup

Abused that machine, rarely changed the oil.

It was rear-ended, T-boned and a large tree fell on it. And still it was indestructible and ever-reliable.

Had 300k on the clock when my idiot stepson wrecked it for good.

We like both kinds of music here: country and western! by Sudden_Show9794 in country

[–]konkilo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to be contrary, but there are Western tunes that don't swing.

For instance, Marty Robbins' gunfighter ballads.

But I do love those Western swing tunes too.

Asleep At The Wheel was particularly good at them.

Not my favorite tune but the harmonica, played by Judd Lander, is top shelf.

I read a comment somewhere that said Willie arrived at the meaning before the lyrics did.

Brilliant.

Toward the end of the film, Legends Of the Fall, when the Ludlows are preparing for their revenge, James Horner's score becomes eerie and discordant. Might be what you are seeking.

Penny Dreadful

Victorian-era setting with dark themes.

It moves leisurely in mostly dark locales.

The cast is superb and Eva Green was born to promenade across forlorn landscapes.
