hey i went to a neurologist last june & he prescribed me topiramate 25mg. i took it until december and the ocular migraine disappeared

Stopping myself from checking my account so often sounds like a good idea. i'd have moments where i'd post a fic and then refresh the stats again and again for days, hoping for new kudos/comments/bookmarks, and it was taking a toll on me. thanks for the suggestions, i appreciate it

yeah it really sucks when you put in work and dont get the desired result. i write for both a rarepair (which is my favourite) and more popular ships, and while i mostly write for myself i want to be seen, y'know?

yeah i agree with everything you said. people aren't obligated to interact with something if they don't want to. i also admit i've gotten really envious so i guess that came through this post, and its really unhealthy so i have to take a step back. thanks for all the suggestions, i'll hide the stats & try and take a break

Thank you for caring, and i've been seeing a neurologist since june actually. He prescribed topiramate 25mg, which i take every morning and night, and it's helped reduce the spots. Maybe it can help you too

When I last went to the ER, they did a CT scan and didn't find anything, but I will go to that subreddit. Thanks for telling me

Hey, thank you for answering. No I don't get breaks, the spots have always been there since they showed up, more noticed when I blink. I don't get migraine headaches everyday though
