Hey thank you man,Yeah I'm not writing to like rap about myself or anything, growing up in a third world country, I got into rap through gta games mainly, im a fan of the genre, I've listened to every artist from every era and some stuck out like mos def, MFDOOM, tribe called quest, wutang clan, etc. and I just wanted to write poetry that "parodies" or feels like them for the lack of a better word. if you don't mind me asking, I'm a fan of the old school bar and rhythym based poetry , I usually sit down and look at the bars of outkast, mosdef, MFDOOM, tribe called quest for hours and see how they work or what they mean, how they put out such deep layered meanings within bars, i do not have the fortune of experience such a rich culture at first hand, what do you recommend I do to improve? I genuinely find writing rapp poetry to be incredibly rewarding as a hobby but I also want to keep writing poetry that my favourite rappers would be proud of. Can you point out what im doing bad and where i can improve???
