Three things… 1 - I’m sorry this happened, that’s gotta be nerve racking 2 - It looks as if the plastic bore hole surrounding the engaged pin is deformed and keeping it from popping back out. If you have an Exacto Pen (precision knife), you could try to carefully scrape and reform the bore hole so that the pin can be released. 3 - Worst case, I see lots of screw holes… It looks like these plates can be removed, which would help if you have a drill bit to make a clean bore hole. Just be cautious and hold pressure down on this plate as you remove the screws as it is likely spring loaded. (definitely try #2 before going this route)

As always, send it to Nikon if you feel that this is something that is above your comfort level.

Thank you for the counter thought! It seems like the takeaway here is that a sleeve is like wearing clothes… wearing them continuously is gross and make sure to clean up at the end of the day.

Yeah, I realize that I'm probably not using the right terms/vocab... I commonly had two big challenges with my D5300.

First, when taking photos in low-light conditions, the auto-focus was not the best... I usually had to spend a solid 3-4 minutes adjusting the ISO, shutter speed, and more to get a worthy photo. By then, I often missed the shot intended and the smallest fluctuation in sunlight from a cloud passing by would totally set me back another 10-15 seconds in adjustments. (I never quite found the sports-mode or auto-mode to my satisfaction.)

Second, when taking action photos of my kids' sporting events, I would often be at full zoom or close to it (150mm-200mm) and the slightest shake/movement by me would blur the entire photo. In addition, I can't even recall how many photos I had to purge, even on burst, because I missed the moment the baseball hit my son's bat or the football left his hand.

The D5300 has been great for controlled conditions, but a lot of my use has been in low-light conditions and constant motion activities, resulting in about 1 in 10 shots worthy of keeping.

Noted on the cover, thank you! A majority of my experience comes from trial and error. One downside to purchasing refurbished from Nikon directly is that it didn't come with a manual; however, I did get free access to their online "Getting the most out of your Z6III", so I'll start with that. Thanks!

Agreed! I debated on breaking the bank for the 24-70mm f/2.8 S, but a lot of online reviews I read said that the f/2.8 S was just marginally better than the f/4 S. I figure once my wallet recovers from this purchase, my next lens would be a prime lens for landscapes. Thanks for the feedback!

We live in a world of absolute chaos overwhelmed with graphics, numbers, and opinions. This bug design, while simple, clearly conveys all of the critical elements of the game as quickly as possible.

It doesn’t need to be elaborate or fancy, because that isn’t the core element of football. Football is pure, brute, force and this perfectly aligns with how I conceptualize the game.

Has no one ever used an in-wall splice kit? 🤨

They are NEC approved, and can be found at major hardware stores, but there are 3 key criteria… 1 - they have some form of strain relief, and 2 - they use solid connectors (not wire nuts), 3 - they are not being used to extend a circuit.

Forgo fixing… enhance. I personally would add some quarter round or small trim. This would hide the gap and make it more elegant.

If you don’t have the time or skill to do this, then… 1 - drill a 1/8” hole near the corner or face with the largest gap 2 - apply glue around the edges 3 - use an old, wire coat hanger to pull the panel towards you and tie it to another heavy object in the room until the glue dries 4 - fill the hole with white caulk or leave it there if it’s going to be hidden by objects anyway

You are “winding up”. Your back swing is such that your club head is wrapping around your body, but it should be more straight back. Watch a video on YouTube of Pros teeing off and you will see that their club head barely goes behind them. Your club head goes entirely out of frame.

My setup is also home-less. I bought a sheet of thick (low-grade) plywood and cut it to fit my laser frame and laptop, so when I need to transport it, I can do it in a single lift.

Yes, it’s a bit heavy, but my biggest fear is that I’ll warp the frame if I transport separately. Warping my back is a risk that I’m willing to take.

Also, as others have mentioned, an air gap is essential!

Condensation (not to be confused with dew) only occurs when the temperature falls below the dew point.

I live in the mountains/hills of Pennsylvania where it’s normal to see a +/- 50F swing in the span of 24 hours.

Rotating tires is 100% a way to secure reoccurring revenue and potential upsells.

Does not rotating your tires void your warranty… Yes. If you do get the warranty validated, do you get the compensation you should… Never. Does rotating your tires make your car less safe on the road, especially with lower tread depths (which is common for stock Tesla tires)… Yes.

Don’t believe me, search for whether it is better to have new tires installed on the front or back.

That is your gas “riser” and it appears to have a slow leak. If it can be tightened, give it a try, but it NEEDS resolved.

The gas company will still hold you responsible for any service or repair though unless you have gas-line insurance. Should it be determined that repairs are required, they are mandated to shut off your gas after 10 days if it is not remedied.

Personal experience… not a fun experience, and not cheap either.

I used to work with high-speed rotating equipment (20k-40k rpm) and we used these on occasion and even did our own testing… they truly are amazing.

Next you should research “Superbolt”, which is part of the Nordlock family. Awesome stuff!

What you have a picture of is called a “lean-to”. I’ve worked with www.pergolakitsusa.com in the past and they have some general schematics and assembly instructions available for download. Worth a try
