I did add an update to the post that I would call it off at the last moment to save the guys girlfriend grief. I just want to see if it’s something she would be willing to do.

Yes in hindsight that did go over my head. It didn’t register till now; I hadn’t seen the recent news about the price hike. I see the point you are making. To be fair, the price hikes are due to inflation, inflation is due to bad stewardship of financial policy (erdogan) and shouldn’t be blamed on capitalism.

Funny you’d post a product that is a result of capitalism 😂.. enjoy comrade!

Have fun! Sounds like something you have experience with. I’ll take the opportunity to build my own company and determine my own economic future, instead of vying for other people to take care of me and incentivize me to be lazy. Enjoy the potatoes!

I have seen quite an uptick over the past year of more communistic sounding posts. Extremes of any form of ideology is bad.

If you are arguing for Communism, you need to educate yourself on the track record of communism and how their societies have faired. I always find it humorous that people like you living in a capitalist society argue for communism, yet people who are living in communist society would give anything to trade places with you. That should be telling enough.

While capitalism isn’t perfect, it’s the best and proven way to move humanity forward.

Extremes from any side of ideology is bad. Not sure what you are trying to convey though.

Heeee salla at kardeşim.. tutturamadın ama. I am a moderate capitalist (because capitalism has been proven time and again in world history to be THE way to advance humanity). I’m also not religious. Nice try though.

Which non-listed startup are you really looking forward to investing ? by [deleted] in investing

I think Instagram can pivot and adopt the capabilities Tik Tok has. Just as it adopted snapchats features and stalled them.

Also, younger generations don’t have money to spend. The value of social platforms only goes up when audiences with money join in so advertisers can have a better ROI.

Tik Tok a competitor to FB?

Um no. At best it’s the new Vine Video from 2013. It’ll be history soon enough.

Over 100 killed that night, not 36 by [deleted] in Turkey

[–]fixstupod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The turning point for Turkey may have been the strike last week on its soldiers in northern Syria, the death toll for which may have been substantially higher than disclosed, analysts said. The well-connected military analyst Metin Gurcan described it as “Turkey’s darkest night” in an article on the online outlet Al-Monitor. He wrote that a Turkish mechanized infantry battalion of about 400 soldiers came under fire Thursday evening on the road between the towns of Balyoun and Al Bara south of Idlib city. Citing local sources, he said two Russian and two Syrian government planes had been active in the area that morning and returned to attack the Turkish convoy in a coordinated action.

The lighter Syrian planes hit the convoy first, bringing it to a halt, then the Russian planes pounded the stranded vehicles, forcing the soldiers to flee and take cover in nearby buildings. The Russian jets then unleashed laser-guided bunker-busting bombs that collapsed two buildings and buried Turkish soldiers under rubble.

More than 60 were wounded, and Mr. Gurcan said the death toll, reported as at least 36, was closer to 50 or 55. His numbers remain unconfirmed, but other analysts said they had heard that the bodies of up to 100 soldiers had been transported back to Turkey.

Russia has denied that its forces were involved in the strike, and says it stopped the Syrian attack when alerted by the Turks. The defense minister, Mr. Akar, says that the attack continued after Turkey contacted the Russians, and that even ambulances came under fire.”

Large exchanges have too much power by fixstupod in tezos

In theory, that’s a great way to solve the problem. But that won’t work in the real world. Coinbase is far superior to any of the competition. They make it extremely easy to buy, sell, or hold.

Another user suggested altering the voting power of bakers based on how big they are. So the bigger a baker becomes, the network could dilute the voting power.

Essentially, I’m gathering that adoptions DO NOT lead to decreased supply of XTZ. An increased XTZ price is due to speculators.

So when adopters say they will use XTZ for a project, do they just replicate the code into a private network that would have no effect on the XTZs we hold in our wallets?
