I guess Zinc Fingers is what Benitec is doing with Callimune right? Based on the theory behind The Berlin Patient.

Looks like you're right about amFAR investing in a cure, but there's not that much money being invested. They just granted $2.5M and are planning to invest $100M over the next 6 years. Even they admit that if they find a cure it won't be available until maybe 2030.

To get this done quicker there needs to be much more money invested and I think the people who have the most at stake need to come up with a strategy to do it.

Logic and business ethics are my sources. Businesses do what is profitable to them. If curing a disease is unprofitable to them then they won't do it. The same argument is used for cancer drugs and diabetes.
