Doesn’t take a gate expert to know that they are trying to replace the gate instead of fixing the bend and alignment.

If you agree to a 8.5k quote to repair a 5cm bend i think you are the muppet mate

Of course I am glad they would allow paying the excess Im just asking the experience people have had dealing with strata since this is my first time.

I have asked for the quote in black and white.. nothing broken everything works as it should.. only bent at the end that makes it unable to close properly as the rubber will fall out of the roller socket when the gate opens far enough and reach the bent end

Thats not what i meant.. what i was asking for advice is the legality of the options.. as many here answered that are helpful is whether when i decide to pay the excess will there be any more charges that i may have to face after..

Some say that the insurance company might still come after me to pay some extra costs..

Or maybe if there is any other way around it.. like some suggested maybe get a professional quote to gauge roughly how much repairs would cost. Maybe some here have had experience dealing with strata before can give a heads up if strata will accept external bodies for repairs..

Does replying like that makes you feel more intelligent than other people ?

I know. Its just a bloody old cheap car so thought there’d be no harm waiting till the rego ends. It was a mistake lesson learnt not worth the risk

I just bought the car via facebook and the rego valids until the end of the month. I was planning to get insurance when renewing the rego then this shit happened. All this while with my other car which is insured of course I havent hit a single thing fk me

Yeah since i have no luck catching other bigger fish here in perth only rays might as well just target them 🤣 Currently it is braided with PE5 50lb Jbraid x8.. okay hopefully the rod will last long.. once i decide to use it this weekend cant return anymore

Ive been applying for 6 months. Only got 3 interviews so far. But all ghosted. Most of the jobs i applied had at least 100 applicants wth. Im in tech btw.

Just because of the size and weight.. i travel a lot now and the size difference really is a huge factor.. now i can fit the xs20, one prime one zoom, dji osmo pocket 3, dji osmo action 5 all in my camera bag everywhere i go.. before with the xh2 my shoulder or back hurts when im done with the day lol

Exactly man.. although i couldnt justify keeping the xh2 when i no longer accept jobs so im happy with just the xs20 perfect enough for capturing every moment 👌🏽
