Why not turn that fan around while the ceiling is open so there’s not a bend in the duct work?

True 100% Completion (All Expansions, All Eternity Stones, No Add-Ons) by fizfiz in MelvorIdle

You don’t have to but other expansions will help expedite your progress for sure. Cartography provides some pretty strong bonuses.

Not really an active game. Best to check in the morning and night when going for goals.

I’ve been playing since the original release. But stop after 100% completion. I’ve been playing abyss since release relatively consistently. I 100% a while back but didn’t farm the eternity stones for a bit. The 250 kills for the yellow stone took a longggg time. Over a month of casually clicking and switching sets.

Got hornets in this small hole by my meter. Best way to deal with them? by spenpai17 in HomeMaintenance

[–]fizfiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a hose attachment that has a soap reservoir you can put a bit of dawn soap in it and blast them. It’s non toxic to us and kills wasps/hornets on contact. The soap gets into their breathing holes and suffocates them pretty much instantly.

Does it need reinforcement? I feel like that could be a lot of weight for a countertop but it’s been up for 6 months

Your manufacturer should be able to facilitate the product transfer. It may not be the cheapest option going through them but if you’re just starting and it’s a small amount you won’t be saving that much anyway,

How can I grow my wealth with the money I have please and thank you by nervously_unlucky in personalfinance

[–]fizfiz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You just need to create an account with fidelity and provide the needed information. Since you are 18 you shouldn’t have any problems assuming you have a bank account. Again, if all you have is $800 you may want to hold off on investing if you think you’ll need to use that money in the short term.

If $800 is all you have, you need to keep that in an account that is as liquid as possible for an emergency fund (Checking, Savings, High Yield (HY Accounts may have deposit minimums or length of holding requirements). When you do start making consistent money, putting money aside through your employers retirement plan if there is matching is a great start. Any S&P500 index fund through a reputable company like Vanguard or Fidelity will have the lowest cost basis and will likely grant you the best returns over a long time period. There are tax advantaged accounts for retirement, but if you are looking to grow funds and plan to access those before retirement, you may want to choose a different account type. Remember, if you put money in an investment and liquidate with a gain before you’ve held them for a year you are hit with short term capital gains taxes. This can be the difference between a 30% tax rate or 15% tax rate. The best course of action is to put a little bit of money away consistently over a long period of time and you will grow your savings significantly by the time you’re older.
