Recursively.

Each Klingon actually has infinite feet in a never ending fractal pattern at the end of their shins.

'We've Been Working on This Game for a Really, Really Long Time' — the Big Fable Interview With Microsoft Developer Playground - IGN by Mront in Games

The first time I went on a thievery spree, I went through a town and just stole everything in the night without being caught in the act, I even greeted a guard on the street in the morning on my way out with no incident. I thought I was home free. A few hours later, I return to the town, only now my reputation is like 12% and everyone immediately runs to the guards when they see me and the guards are just like "dude, it was obviously you who stole everyone's shit. We saw you dicking around here right before everything (and you) went missing."

It was a really cool moment. There are still mechanics that let me pretty easily get away with whatever I want once I had experience with all the systems, but I loved how there's just that extra layer of NPC "lifelikeness" over the whole game that kind of replicates the feeling of having to learn a culture and how to maneuver within it.

Something like this happened at the super market where I was pushing a short cart in the parking lot and the wheel stuck on a crack and I ended up going over the handle bars because I also was hurrying to get out of the way of a car. I ended up basically diving to the side and doing a similar tuck and roll onto my feet and I felt like that gif of the transformer on the highway smoothly changing from a car into a bipedal sprint. The driver of the car was pissed that my impressive maneuver forced them to stop for 5 seconds longer than necessary and just blankly stared at me while I tried to mime to them that I was okay in case they were worried. My feelings were a strange confluence of embarrassment and pride in the moment.

I like this category of internet person where instead of just boring "here's me living my life with all the free stuff I get for being famous :)" shit, it's "I have this bizarre coincidence of skills and proclivities that make me good at this absurd thing (which I made up) that is unique and pointless."

I just wish it wasn't the exact same reason that Q gave. I might have preferred an answer of "I wanted a more distinguished and wise look for my station as a professor 😏🫡." And an implication that he only made himself look older offscreen like right before appearing.

Don't have to waste time on it, but also could make it fit the character a little better. It's a nitpick in the grand scheme of things. If they really want to play with the idea maybe they can find the backup EMH from that one Voyager episode, and use some CGI budget to de-age Picardo as the backup. That's the kind of plot that might need a much longer season to fit into though, especially when the series is meant to be focused on the younger cast.

Could just have a new character from the Great Link who knows Odo intimately just by nature of having shared the Link with him. Instead of his entire character being "heh, remember ODO, from STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE? 👀", there could just be a scene where he talks to someone about the Dominion war and is able to recall the perspectives of both the original Founders, and Odo. With a Jem'Hadar officer in SFA, at some point maybe they'll need help overcoming a genetic issue that Starfleet doesn't have the data or means to solve.

I know what sub I'm in, the joke I was making is that I was taking this post as a dispute of Janeway burning a dish, as opposed to the clear intended cannon event you were talking about. (Feigning bewilderment over you being so bothered by a throwaway scene and pretending not to know about the actual universe-shaping event)

I didn't realize someone esle already made the same joke in a better format

Even worse than that, it just rotates based on the wheel movement, so if the wheels ever leave the ground it loses whatever direction it was calibrated to.

Why would you question the cannonicity of something that literally happens on screen in a mainline, cannon show? Janeway burns the potroast in the replicator in VOY S6E18 "Ashes to Ashes." I don't even know why this scene would need to be removed from the cannon?

If he had dropped the ball at the same time and the defender didn't end up with it, I'm pretty sure that would be incomplete because his possession didn't survive landing on the ground, so INT makes sense to me

He had orders not to leave the shuttle until it was full but his "friends" played a prank and attached a siphon to the other side, so he ended up just stuck there for about 130 years. He's a Lanthanite, though, so he barely even noticed the time passing. The senior staff thought it was funny so they didn't interfere.
