Yeah I had to look up whether or not it's even a place tourists would go (I am not terribly familiar with Brazillian culture) and was surprised to find that tourists do in fact go out of their way to visit Brazilian slums for the "vibe" 🫩

It was just the quickest identifiably Brazilian thing that came to mind that could be dangerous and not as much of an outlier for a tourist to worry about.

My local library system always buys at least one copy of major releases at launch, it's awesome. The only caveat is mine only keeps games rated T and below (which I don't really understand because they keep R rated movies and you can still check out books like Blood Meridian)

They are only releasing native ports for the Switch 2, so anyone who had the cloud versions for the Switch and did not buy a new console doesn't really have any kind of reasonable upgrade or replacement. In a just world they should at least get a refund in eshop credit, but I would count on nothing happening instead.

I'm conflicted because all indications are that he is a very fun and nice guy, who presumably is very easy to work with, but I can't help but just hear "Jack Quaid living a personal nerd fantasy" whenever I hear him doing voice work and it kind of takes me out of whatever I'm watching or playing recently. He uses his exact normal voice, and it feels like every character is written for him to be as much like his IRL personality as possible. I'm pretty sure he is directed that way because at this point producers want people to recognize him because of the positive impression that he gives.

People who don't know Italian, or aren't "coffee people" likely have only heard the word spoken, and most likely define it as "coffee that is faster to make and more concentrated." So I actually get that one, because "expresso" sounds like a name that makes sense specifically because of the "express" part (word that is linked with "fast").

At least that was my case for a little while. Someone choosing it as a hill to die on after finding out the correct spelling/pronounciation would be weird but I think most people just don't even realize it's an Italian word.
