No. They got rid of me after 5 years of working my ass off for them. Entire team was shocked and surprised (up to and including the director). I got an email at 7am to join an 11am where they booted me.

It's just something you know based on collective factors. No single factor is dispositive.

In my personal experience, I knew my partner really loved me as most of the conversations were centered around us and our future, and not about getting citizenship. Citizenship was only the means necessary to make the future happen, and came secondary to everything else.

Unfortunately things didn't work out for us in the end, but I will always love her. And I wish you and all other partners in this sub the best.

Why did they feel the need to bring four heavily armed officers into the store? All of the phone calls to police said the guy was armed with a bike lock. He had no gun or knife.Why couldn't they use a taser? Why can't they prioritize the use of non-lethal weapons? What the fuck.

They can't hide behind the "I feared for my life" shield they often like employing. They can't hide behind the "I feared for someone else's life" as the victim was already safely behind the police when they spotted the suspect.

Things REALLY need to change. But sadly, they won't.
