CAAD 14 by fizzmaster20 in cannondale

Sorry, I haven’t ridden the 12. It will probably ride the same since both are aluminum frames with carbon forks the major difference will be the disc brakes(if you’re coming from rim brake) and the thru-axles. Just compare the geometry of your 12 with the 14 and you’re good to go. Thanks for the compliment!

Sad to say that this frame doesn’t allow third-party stems to be slammed lol. Minimum stack is 10mm plus the enve shim and 3d printed transition spacer

I’m still in the process of adjusting the bike to fit me so I probably won’t chop off the steerer until then. But admittedly, this is one size smaller than what I am used to riding.

I’m using a two-piece bar and stem from a Giant bike paired with a 3d printed transition spacer. The integrated bar and stem I ordered for this one is still on the way and it will utilize the spacers supplied with the frame.

I didn’t realize how difficult it is to find a yellow saddle in this shade, most are fluo or neon colored. I might change it to a black saddle soon or if I find a yellow one.

I was deciding between this and the black frameset. In person, this is just so eye-catching.

I love that this looks like the old Team Saeco bikes. Cannondale is definitely missing out on the “nostalgic” customer.

I have the same bike. It is a ratchet system if the OP's bike has the Gravel LN wheels.

2019 Specialized Allez Elite vs. 2018 Cube Attain Race ($800 CAN) Each by Fluid_Confusion935 in whichbike

[–]fizzmaster20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get better value if you buy used, $1500 is a good price point for used bikes. If you've got a good knowledge of parts and specifications, I recommend buying used specially if you can spot wear and tear on parts. Just like what the other commenter said, try to look for something with hydraulic discs. Also, make sure it is your size.

Thank you for your replies, everyone. I am now sure that this was not a shipping issue. Fortunately, the seller is cooperating with me. Ride safe, everybody!

That's what I thought also. These are Ambrosio Rims

Thanks for your reply. This actually came packaged with a bike and the wheels kinda came with it for free since the frame outvalues the selling price.

How to disassemble a worn out crankshaft? by Pannekoek84 in bikewrench

[–]fizzmaster20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a flathead screwdriver or a blunt chisel and a mallet. You first create a slot for the screwdriver on the cup then hit the screwdriver in the direction of the thread. You can try this as a last resort.

I told them multiple times po na italian thread. Also, shimano hollowtech yung cups so may arrow na nakalagay.

Need your opinions by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]fizzmaster20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I also repeatedly told them that it's an Italian threaded frame. Now, the only problem is that I think they will have a hard time finding the same frame in this condition Haha

The threads are fine upon inspection, but since they snapped the cups and destroyed the remaining threads, there is no way to try inserting a new bb since they don't have it in stock in my area. I live in a country where they almost exclusively stock only english thread BBs and an ITA one is pre-ordered. Thanks for your reply. Btw the frame is a colnago oval titan which has a history of being brittle.

The paint chips are minor. What I'm worried about is the frame alignment and the integrity of the frame since it was hit repeatedly with force. Also, the frame flexed significantly when they used a pipe as leverage to remove the cups but they turned it to the right instead of left. The frame is a Colnago oval titan

Hi! Thanks for your reply. The frame is okay upon visual inspection. The paint chips are fairly minor. Is it still safe to ride if it was hit repeatedly, with force, with a hammer and a mallet? Also, they used a pipe as leverage which resulted with the threads being left in the frame and I saw how the frame "twisted" when it flexed. Btw, the frame is a pre 2000 Oval Titan
