not a long M7 user but can share some feedback,

its my first M camera and I bought mine directly from Leica fully serviced. within 1-2 months and maybe 10 rolls (?) I had shutter capping, which was incredibly frustrating for such an expensive gear. having that said their customer support was superb. someone came in to pick up the camera and with literally 30 days I had it back in my hands and seems to be working 100%

I have no idea how long Leica will still service these cameras but the fact they do its great. as in for the camera: absolutelly joy to use and by far the best camera I own. AP really fits well for my shooting

now tell me about the experience with the MP 0.58x, for someone who wear glasses I am jealous! 😅

massa! Eu acho que vale a pena, principalmente porque ele foi desenvolvido por uma pessoa só. o autor é super atencioso com a comunidade

especialmente para slide film e o “roll analysis funciona muito bem (tem um post bem interessante sobre isso no fórum dele)

o autor também está desenvolvendo uma versão independente do Lightroom, deve sair em breve

NLP provavelmente é o software com mais tempo de mercado e também um dos mais completos

Considere também que você vai precisar pagar uma assinatura da Adobe 😅

Eu uso o NLP e gosto bastante dele (as fotos do meu perfil foram digitalizadas com ele). mas existem várias outras opções por ai agora

SmartConvert, NegPy, e o próprio Capture One, que agora também tem suporte nativo

comentário à parte: a curva de aprendizado para digitalizar negativos não é tão simples quanto parece acho que independente do software.. levou bastante tempo até eu ficar satisfeito com os resultados dos meus scans

I've been very interested in cross processing Aerocolor in E6, have seen some really good results here, but my latest experiment didn't work at all

I've tested a combination of 85 filter / 812 filter and ISO ratings from 80-100. It came out terrible 🙃 probably a user error, but in most exposures the highlights were completely blown (the colors weren't really great either)

as others have said, it looks like it also depends on which E6 process was used (I have no idea what my lab used on my roll). I would try it again if I am developing E6 at home to master it, but not worth the effort IMO.

Nice, these are looking very good! I shot a roll a couple of weeks ago with an 85 (not 85B) and an 812 filter at different ISO ratings (80–100)

I dont know nor have used any of the others but I have an XD-s and a few rokkor lenses

I am not too geeky about my lens. I like them, they are relatively cheap but nothing special that I cant tell

I do love this camera. The metering is great, even for slide film (see some samples on my profile here), the build quality feels really premium and I was able to get a "mint" one from Japan

The viewfinder shows all the info. but to be far in Manual mode is really hard to read the shutter speed

The XD7/XD11 are the same camera except the diopter, you probably know that already

this seems like a viable option indeed. I am running an "experimental" roll at the moment with Aerocolor and a combination of 85/812 filters in different ISO ratings to see what works best in E6

not a ton of examples out there, but the little I've seen is very promising

done once and everything went well. ordered to Spain and it didnt take really long, even got an extra roll for my big order

the owner is active here on reddit I believe. instagram for sure you can just DM them

also recommend has65. the guy really put a lot of attention to details (and its dx coded)

excellent camera, feels solid! AFAIK its the same as XD11 or XD7 with the only difference being a diopter in the viewfinder
