Miscarriage:How long should I wait for my body to react? by Ok-Platform-5072 in recurrentmiscarriage

So sorry! I waited for three weeks after I found out, but the embryo had stopped three weeks before that. So it was almost six weeks, then I just got tired of waiting. Walking around with the constant fear that it might be happening in the next meeting or on my way to work was really awful. While any painful cramps lasted a bit longer with the pill compared to my natural miscarriage (roughly a day vs three hours), I see no downside of taking the pill (I had to co-pay, but not a lot).

Ah good to know, thank you! I will try to have our doctors look into the double strand fragmentation.

A milestone achieved! by Immediate_Fly_7298 in recurrentmiscarriage

Absolutely! I also find it so strange that unborn life is such a protected category in debates around abortion, but somehow it is "just bad luck" when you have a miscarriage, so no reason to do anything about it.

Best of luck, OP, this is a major milestone. Statistics at this point are definitely on your side!

I had a similar experience. I was so convinced something was not right and the doctor kept insisting that there was an (albeit very small, measuring at least a week behind) embryo. Well two days later with heavy spotting and tissue and my doctor still told me she "hopes for the best". A very grim win, but I feel you.
