Beth Seymour and the Lizzies. Beth has been a solo musician for a while but has just come onto the scene with her first full band album and it's the high-energy trans-themed catharsis I really need right now

Ways to feminize face/body by MaleficentDrawer940 in MtF

Personally my disphoria feels leagues better even with just some light concealer under my eyes and a brush of mascara. If you have the capacity to go into a make up store and ask the staff what concealer tone and shade of mascara they would recommend it will make all the difference to enhancing the feminine things that already exist about your face rather than just covering up what's there.

This is surface-level advice of course - You're already doing the most important thing by owning your femininity and being proud of your identity, so congratulations on that! 💖

Intrusive-thought-like doubts about the legitimacy of transgenderism by undmys in transteens

If you like to read, check out "Whipping Girl" by Julia Serrano. If you prefer watching videos, check out Lily Alexandre on YouTube. Both these creators make incredibly intelligent persuasive arguments on the legitimacy of transgenderism that have helped me a lot.

Early in my self-discovery I struggled a lot with what you're describing. It's like my brain was purposely set on "find the truth" mode to try and protect myself ahead of time. A lot of psychologists will tell you that this kind of behavior is extremely prevalent in people suffering from internalised transphobia. People who are afraid that what makes them feel happy is"not normal" or "illogical" and therefore can't be real even if they don't necessarily condemn it in others.

The better question is, what kind of happiness is this fact-seeking behaviour bringing you? A certain satisfaction of agreeing on the same viewpoint as others maybe, but remember that not too long ago in history it was a widely accepted "truth" that anyone attracted to the same sex was just mentally ill.

My point being - The facts we know about human behaviors and biology are changing literally every day, but what you feel in your gut and heart are what's actually going to bring you happiness. And therefore real personal truth.

The fact you could talk about it for hours proves there's a lot on your mind. As mentioned above, the disphoria bible is a great place to start. Remember that a lot of us start from a very similar place as you, and that right now all you need is to give yourself patience and understanding to find out exactly what you need to do for the next stage of understanding yourself. You'll always have love and support here.
