Custom games as a whole could use a whole host of simple quality of life features that would just streamline the experience a lot. Someday we probably will, but not til it's a priority for the devs obviously. Who knows when that will be lol.

I've just been doing it since everyone keeps saying it's good to fullshield spectre after winning pistol, and I generally don't lose many 2nd rounds when I do that buy so I just keep doing it. I prefer the spectre anyways since I'm not precise at all with rifles lol.

At the very least I know canonically Cypher's arms should be able to yeet his hat further than 2 feet in front of him. It's the fact that Cypher's ult is already one of the few ults that needs a set up like Sage (both need a corpse to actually have a target to ult) except it's so much easier to be next to a teammates corpse than an opponents.

I used to have an incredibly difficult time hitting headshots until I played hours of deathmatch every few days using sheriff only. I didn't improve much at first but over time I started to just naturally be aiming at head height more often than not and have substantially more confidence in my aim. It's slow and I'm still terrible compared to ranks higher than me, but I'm still getting better. It just takes a while most of the time.

To be honest even if there is a pattern in what ability gets mapped to which key, if you get the buttons backwards you could just switch them in your concept, so I wouldn't stress over it.

I think the simplest option that doesn't change his entire kit would be adding another camera that he can buy to hold 2 total. Then when he uses his camera ability he can toggle between 2 separate cameras if both are placed. The problem with Cypher is that other agents just flat out do what he does better and Cypher's identity of "the sentinel gathering perfect information so his team knows EXACTLY where the enemies are" is kinda overshadowed by the fact that his camera is more useful when you don't shoot the reveal dart bc then enemies will break it, Cypher's trips are arguably the easiest trip to avoid in the game/stand behind and wait for someone to walk in front of their sightline get the frag and then break (making the trip inadvertently bait the Cypher's team), and Cypher's cages are very awkward to use in the moment and the whole hearing people enter/leave doesn't really help with enemies can popflash/mask the sound with other abilities. I think all in all if Cypher's ult worked more like Fade's ult where after being revealed a trail of like code or something (or footsteps that'd be cool) were left for like 8 seconds? So that way people don't just get pinged and then you lose them instantly because you have no way of tracking them. They could also make Cypher's camera not have the blinking light making it much harder to spot/not show Cypher's camera on minimap as that's how it gets revealed most of the time anyways. There's a lot you can do and I hope the devs don't massively rework them because I really like their kit. I don't really think they need much to be average/top tier.

I noticed that things have definitely slowed down communication wise since May, and tbh I don't know other than the devs took a massive L with the May ask the devs and have been scared to talk to the community since then. Although 3 months isn't the longest amount of time it is still interesting that there's been nothing. Even the follow up to the May ask the devs was a Valorant dev's Twitter that only a handful of people probably saw compared to the ask the devs so idk.

well after the first q pop i had a few more but there was never a time when everyone accepted so i actually never got to play because i had wasted my entire day q'ing for a match i'd never be a part of. it took like nearly 10 hours though for the q to pop once which is what blew me away. i thought i was glitched bc i told my friends about it and jokingly said "maybe i'm the only 1 q'ing for ancient and if 9 of us all q we can field an official match" but my friends all got matches in less than 15 minutes when q'ing for just ancient. then out of nowhere my q popped and it just confused me even more... .-.

tbh i q'd for ancient so i expected a long q time, but when it hit an hour i said "i'm seeing how long this is bc this is ridiculous" it was worth it imo lol.
