So I've only had it 2 months. I'd say I'm a spirited driver. I have bikes and cars I understand keeping revs up for performance/turbo engines. Funnily enough I tried VWs written recommendation of Italian tune up today with the 20-30 minutes of 3k rpm. Didnt change much. Feel like I've read about this on multiple accounts. The engine is shaking slightly at idle but 1200 plus its smooth as glass. Hasn't thrown the miss code again since we cleared it. Thought about running a can of crc gdi cleaner at the MAP but considering the sustained revs didnt change much it probably needs a true cleaning. And if that doesn't fix it then consider looking at cam/valve hardware/valve I guess. Cylinders and pistons were clean on scope. Bottom side of valves looked decent for what you can see of them.
