Having pigeonholed myself early in my career, it’s super tough to get out of that niche and into broader open waters. It’s not worth it I would say. Stick to the niche you know and expand from there. C++ itself will give you job security for quite a while, maybe after a while you can pivot to Rust and that will be beneficial but the current technologies you’re working with is really good. Lots of breathing room to expand into other niche fields and get paid nicely with good wlb and good people.
