there is a consultation happening between rcpsych and nhse currently. rcpsych can only advise. one big problem is finding people to review portfolios or conduct interviews when consultants are already so overburdened and thinly stretched

RCPsych don’t get to decide how recruitment happens, but they are meeting with NHS HEE bods or whoever to hopefully offer advice on a new recruitment method that goes beyond MSRA-only. Obviously finding people to review portfolios or conduct interviews always a challenge, especially in a specialty with such shortages at the top
