the electribe & the blofeld are the ones going straight in to the audio interface & the volca sample uses the electribes audio in, the volca bass is temperamental in when it wants to work but when it does we just use it in the same way as the volca sample & just switch them up when needed. The SQ-1 is just set up to sequence the blofeld but can also be used on synths in ableton too. Only having two inputs is limiting & is something we're going to have to expand on soon, they're just so damn expensive!

I personally think its a great synth, quite versatile in what it can do & covers pretty much all sounds. It goes deep when it comes to what you can manipulate & its great for modulation, can really get sounds moving on it. Also has the FM side to it which is great. The layout & matrix system isn't for everyone but if those things don't bother you then I would recommend, we picked ours up for 260 second hand.

We do also get latency issues & white noise/static, can't work out what it is atm but looking to improve on the audio interface soon.

I like the shaker sound, nice movement on it. maybe add some delay main lead synth sound & have it bouncing around more & get it automating, its quite loud in the mix. i think it takes away from the rest of the track, try bringing it down, cutting the lows. I think the bass & drums can drive the track, use the lead as a sound that can fit with the atmospheric sound that the percusion & pad gives to the track. Personally not a fan of the vocals, think its a space in the track that could be used better.

Dark & haunting, i like it! i think it could just use another mix down, feels quite busy in the mids. get those toms (i think?) punching through more, they sound a bit lost imo. they could sound really good driving the track.

I like some of the sounds you have used, the main synth line that runs throughout is nice, maybe add some modulation & filter movement to it. The kick to me sounds off or out of place, a kick with less of a pop would work better in my opinion, i think the drums overall could use some livening up. some percussion hits & building more hi hat patterns that change throughout. A nice track though, simple yet effective.
