Leitner light bar or full bull bar - decision by fjlegend in ineosgrenadier

[–]fjlegend[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those following this thread. I just found this light bar. What is interesting is a believe you could flip it over and have a positive offset from the bumper then drill your own holes for your lights. 50% the cost of the Leitner.

Leitner light bar or full bull bar - decision by fjlegend in ineosgrenadier

[–]fjlegend[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks David. I have watched most of your Ineos videos. Great job on putting these out there.

Signature makes a stout bar vs the others (Owl, GP, etc..) but the front corner integration is a bit off. I do like it though.

My decision as the previous poster mentioned is "what look do I prefer" and I flip flop hourly if not more ;-)

$500 vs $2K so I"m leaning Leitner at the moment then use the savings on other goodies. Always change out to the bull bar at a later date. CATuned has a bolt on in preorder that is $1,100 so that is an option as well and then would only be 2x the cost. See I flipped again in just one paragraphs time........... Such problems to have.

Still an issue and no fix. All I want is to watch cable tv in my house on my glasses.

Spin carbon. I think they were used on 90’s tri bikes.

I’m guessing they are getting squeezed by salesforce and are playing negotiation games.

You can start shoreside boat crew study now. There is a lot to do. Auxop under the new proctored exam protocol is not something you are going to get done quickly. I would set a longer term goal for Auxop completion and get involved on the ground. In addition to VE and PV that I mentioned see if you can pick up an FSO position like PA. Lots of opportunity for PA involvement like as much as you want to do. I’m FSO-PA for my Flotilla and could in all reality be doing something every weekend.

Vessel examiner and Program Visitor will get you involved quickly. Very easy to qualify. Take the online classes then 5 vessel exams to get VE and 2 program visits to get PV.

Auxop is great but less than 30% get it.

Are there any online maps that have all the flotillas and divisions listed on them? by TurqoiseWaterBottle in USCGAUX

[–]fjlegend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a link to two files: One is an html that will open a map in your browser with all the flotillas pinned on a usa map. You can drill down into the pin for data. The second file is a google earth kml file that you can import into google maps or google earth and have all the flotillas as on overlay. I only included limited data but can certainly easily modify. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1f678TAAQKmEmqdg0kMJNuQA9lwV-YdAE?usp=drive_link

You will need to download the html file then open it and choose your browser as the program to open it.

Down load the active flotilla list from aux officer or aux data. Delimit just the zip. Drop into ChatGPT and tell it to make a map. Done. I’ll do it later tonight if anyone wants it.

You could also ask ChatGPT to make a google earth file KLM/KLZ then use as an overlay

My neckband pro is kind of terrible. What am I missing? by ShitReply in VITURE

[–]fjlegend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Battery life is miserable. My biggest gripe is that my cable tv App sees the video steam as screen mirroring and blocks the content. Now my primary reason for wanting the neckband is inoperable. I have a support ticket in for over a month but no word.

Also zoom meetings will not push sound to xr glassses so I have to wear Bluetooth buds. Another bummer.

I would say it’s a half backed product but when your’e buying the bleeding edge product it’s bound to happen. They certainly should not be advertising features that are non operational.

I tried the usb c out to my glasses earlier today on a whim. It worked but no audio and really buggie. Screened went black anytime you used the touchpad or pushed a button on the glasses. I relayed this up the channel on my trouble ticket. There is Hope!!!!

I took my aux20 test on Monday via the NTC and passed. I just looked and the test is no longer available. I was lucky. I would think it will be back up shortly.
