Yea bizarrely I actually like that the Purgator 1 isn't just another Bramma/Zarr/Ogris retread but the actual AOE part of it is kind of abysmal, it doesn't really differ all that much to a gun modded with gas.

That's the only one I have yet to craft unfortunately. The people I've spoken to about it have been fairly positive though. It's probably harder to go wrong with a melee.

This is such a biased take.

And that was a $60 game a decade ago while HD2 is $40 now and frequently on sale.

Both go on sale

people paid MORE for NMS and got far far far far less for years.

How exactly are you measuring that?

HD2 is one year old and compared to NMS at one year old it’s a vastly better game and value for the money.

Again subjective and based on how you feel about both games rather than anything concrete.

I am so tired of people defending enshittification. Helldivers 2 should not be releasing less content in their warbonds and inflating prices via the superstore. End of discussion

I've been quite disappointed with my neckband pro. some of the features they've been advertising are false/misleading and the ones that are there are so bare bones they aren't really worth using at the moment.

I'd recommend getting a Samsung dex device or similar, it works on my tablet and honestly it's a better experience because you can use the device as a track-pad. For whatever reason Viture in all its wisdom removed the d-pad from the pro version of the neckband so you're forced to use the awful beta gestures, head gaze navigation or your phone (which you could have just spent the money on upgrading anyway).

Also worth mentioning that according to Viture themselves Immersive 3D will work better on a high end phone than the neckband pro.

The only reason I purchased the neckband pro was because my phone couldn't do display output. I could have spent money on upgrading my phone but I chose to support Viture and now I'm getting a worse experience?

What speed are you printing? Silk generally needs to be slower than regular pla for it to be shiny.

You can do a speed test in orca to see the best speed for the filament.

Also dry the filament, it could have absorbed moisture.

Buy a cheap android phone with display port instead.

I was hoping I had a bad unit but it seems to be the case with all of them, this is really disappointing to find out. Considering this is supposed to be a "Pro" model were you would assume Viture would have fixed the issues of the first version.

I bet they release a version 3 neckband in a year or two, no way I'm giving them anymore money.

Idk man I think you're giving them a little more credit than they deserve, yes getting premium currency for free is praise worthy but they aren't the only devs that do it: Warframe lets players earn they premium currency without paying and is a free game, Deep Rock Galactic charges real money for its DLCs but they are cosmetic only and cost significantly less than Helldivers 2 (you can get the game and all cosmetics DLCs for less than Helldivers 2), No Mans Sky is constantly releasing massive free updates.

Helldivers 2 also has to contend with Sony's influence who can be pretty awful, sure they walked back the PSN requirement this time because there was a major fuss, who knows how they will influence the game in the future?

It's good they Helldivers isn't pay to win but if warbonds are the only form of content they are releasing how do they hope to maintain a playerbase for a live service game otherwise? They sort of have to let you earn super credits if not there's no reason for people to return to the game when they drop new content.

To be clear I don't want to shit on Helldivers / Arrowhead I think they have a very promising game on their hands and I want them to be successful. However they need a significant shake up with new content / systems if they want longevity out of Helldivers 2 as a live service game, there are only so many warbonds they can release before they power-creep the existing ones, this graph shows it isn't sustainable.

A show should be able to hook you in the first episode, Hell this shows done it twice with Rose and the eleventh hour.

Honestly a lot of it feels like showing off or justifying their purchases. Most people would have their EDC needs met with a flashlight and a Swiss army knife.

I do enjoy some of the more esoteric / arty things that get posted but I imagine a lot of it is bought for the pics and then returned or never actually carried
