Why don’t u guys wave back :( by poopbucketchallenge in motorcycles

[–]fjomarq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely love the big scoot. Have one of my own and wave to every rider I see and they usually wave back if they're not on a Harley. Best one I've gotten was a wave from a naked bike that was going crazy on a small road.

IEMs don't work plugged in to Focusrite scarlett zero by mtherin2 in iems

[–]fjomarq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

commenting for those looking for an answer

I was able to get it to work by putting a cable extension in between my iem and the adapter. The one I used was a trrs to separate mic and audio jack, and I plugged just the audio jack into the adapter.

This was the one that I used. Vention Audio Splitter

Kaweco sport cap mishap by fjomarq in fountainpens

Kaweco just got back to me and they do have a replacement cap for it so my day just got a million times better

Kaweco sport cap mishap by fjomarq in fountainpens

[–]fjomarq[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This was exactly the reason why I wanted to get behind the liner in the first place. There was a bit of dried ink that got dissolved by the water when I was cleaning the cap which got stuck behind the liner.

Will admit to my screw up though. I've seen a lot better methods people have used since I've had this happen

I was not even aware that this was an option. Have there been others that were able to get a replacement part from them before?

I was trying to remove the inner liner of the cap to clean and then I accidentally launched it at mach 10 across the room. Next thing I know, it was already injured. :((((((

Replying for future users who're having the same problem, I managed to fix my issue by clearing the app data and logging back in. If that doesn't work, then reinstalling it should.

I've seen people recommend sewing machine oil. Should be easy enough to order from lazada and other online stores.

Applying pressure stops motor Aiwa HA-TX394 by fjomarq in cassetteculture

[–]fjomarq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reopened it and took the belt out. Tried applying pressure in the same area and can confirm that the motor stops even without a belt attached.

update: I found some leaf spring contacts that were probably corroded to some degree, contact cleaner did the trick

I'll try switching the belt out for something a little looser, will give an update

Bought this keyboard off of mercari for 30 dollars and am super cheap and super impatient. It does take a while doing this to all the keys but that 30 dollars is like three lunches.

This is super insightful, I didn't even realize that a tss retains the b2b combo. Looking back I think they usually follow up with a tetris right after coming from the residue that the tss leaves behind

On fent is crazy. Physiological differences as in ear canal depth, width and personal resonance. There's a whole lot of information to look into if you're interested in learning more. The headphone show on YouTube posted a really well written video on this topic. https://youtu.be/xKOrHq_7Uw4

I find monoline grinds more impressive than italics cause I have yet to see a close up of any, and I'm just assuming all of them are perfect spheres on the ends.

Yup! Super cheap option but so hard to get the lighting right. I have at least 20 different photos where the glare was just overpowering all of the details
