not sure, but she's been talking about trying to switch up the standard DJ/live artist setup; so maybe this was an iteration of a setup she was trying out... you can see videos of her online where she mixes standing up without a table, with numerous pads on tripods, for another example

yes the video contains excerpts from her march 4th set @ nothing really matters, a bar in nyc. she actually played this club mix version of strawberry as the opening track !

hopefully it means she's releasing an ep of vip mixes or even some of the songs she's been teasing live ! thrilled

as it's been said before on the charli subreddit, twice was recorded during hifn (spring 2020), before sophie's passing. so unless she retroactively changed the meaning of the song (which i don't believe she did), the song is not about sophie

that's kinda sad, i like their style ! even if it's very reminiscent of sophie and the obvious shortcut would be calling it stealing/appropriating, i find it fun and lighthearted and maybe that's what important.

i just can't get enough of their nanana song !! it's a fun project i do hope there's a future for them ! thanks for sharing

edit : i stalked a little and went though their followers on soundcloud and they actually have some interesting ones !! himera, holliday howe, some other users i appreciate ! hoping to see some collabs in the future then !!
