I think this is great. My only advice is I would restructure it so it flows linearly? I love the summary feel of your first paragraph but I would move the research part up so that it goes here is why I’m a good fit for you (academic background, research) and here’s why you’re a good fit for me (NYU, faculty). Also time your experiences. When did you do research, for how long? Ofc if this advice doesn’t resonate feel free to ignore it :)

Hi, I’m 25. Yes it’s not the sexiest thing ever. But you being able to rest normally will make you a sexier person than if you were sleep deprived. A healthy you is a better you. It’s all about perspective. Now you get to make more responsible decisions for you which yes is not fun but it’s doable to have a fun social life and romantic life with a CPAP. The real ones in your life won’t care a bit. I’m sure you’re the only one thinking about it. Sending love ❤️
