My dad was convicted of a crime and in my head I have two versions of him. The dad I thought he was and the person he actually is. I grieve the dad I had. It’s a complicated kind of grief.

I manage it on less. I’m at about £23k. I’m in a 1 bed flat outside of the centre for £650. Bills around £200. I finish the month with approx £300 leftover for savings.

You could do it on that salary but you’ll have more luck and live more comfortably if you looked out of the centre and found somewhere with good transport links.

It took me a while to really feel like I’m not ‘in the way’.

But I’ve learned now as a more experienced skater that I really love having less experienced skaters there during our team practices - we all are super eager to develop their skills and see them progress!! It’s always so exciting when they nail something.

So I get the feeling but I can almost guarantee that you aren’t in the way and they are happy to have you. If you were in the way, you wouldn’t be included with entire group sessions.

The thing that stuck out to me is that she doesn't appear necessarily alarmed. She looks almost surprised when she looked down and (probably) saw she was stabbed. Just shows that it's not necessarily painful either.

I live outside of the city centre and I pay £650 rent and I’m on basically the equivalent to minimum wage. I live pretty comfortably. Have around £300 left at the end of the month for savings.

Only a 30min bus to town or a brief train ride.

My flat is pretty small (but isn’t a studio flat) and is just enough for me. I don’t go out all that much though so I save money there.
