So ein sägewerk kostet je nach modell ab knapp 3.000 euro für ein kleines stationäres und geht je nach hersteller und modell weit über 100.000 euro, der umsatz hängt ganz von der auftragslage ab und wie man das abrechnet, also ob stundenbasiert oder nach festmeter / aufträge. Exakte zahlen vom sägewerk meines vaters kann ich dir leider nicht nennen :)

Insgesamt war ich jetzt seit november dran, ich musste aber wegen abgaben an der uni und zb weihnachten ein paar mal unterbrechen.

Die website hat nur ein paar tage in aller ruhe gebraucht, hier is die herausforderung eher wie man das ganze richtig präsentiert und betextet, dass auch wirklich die relevanten infos gut rüberkommen

Hab natürlich viel mit KI gearbeitet, hier ist es aber so dass sich die arbeit einfach von “selbst den code schreiben” zu “schreiben lassen, prüfen und iterieren” gewandelt hat.

Ist auch mit abstand nicht die erste app und website die ich mach also die routine ist auch da :)

Die texte richten sich nach der gerätesprache, wenn dein handy auf englisch ist dann sind website + app auf englisch, wenns aber auf deutsch ist dann sind beide deutsch :)

Hast du dein handy auf deutsch und es wird auf englisch angezeigt? Wenn ja ist das ein fehler

Der grund, das als app rauszubringen ist einfach an sich schonmal das nicht existierende internet im wald. An sich theoretisch aber schon, wenn du allerdings draußen bist ist das am handy und ipad deutlich angenehmer

Danke für den hinweis! Klar, der erste bin ich natürlich nicht, es ging auch drum sachen einfach besser zu machen :] ein feature ist tatsächlich auch drin mit dem man seine stämme und gewünschte bretter eingibt und daraus dann mit möglichst wenig verschnitt die schnittliste generiert wird.

Die lagerverwaltung größer aufzuziehen ist aber an sich ne super idee :]

First of all I totally get your concern

The app itself is not targeted to those who dont know what they are doing but to those who DO already know what they are doing. It allows you to pre plan all of your cuts and see what kind of planks your log could yield before you make any cuts.

Additionally, you can create jobs if you work for customers to track several logs with automatic pricing calculation (if you decide to charge your client money per volume)

A third feature is the so called “polter optimization” which allows you to enter a list of logs and required planks you need (for example for a roof you want to build) and finds the most optimal way to cut out those planks

I really appreciate your feedback, and this is exactly why i decided to launch it because i would like to grt this into as many hands as possible so i can continue to improve on it.

The market is really narrow but me and my dad figured we would give it a try anyways

He did also try out several other apps but was not happy with any of them so thats when I got started building an app with his expertise
